Judge, 5th District Court of Appeal. Appointed by Governor Rick Scott. He won the retention vote in 2018 (63.3%).

Before he became a judge, Eisnaugle had experience as an attorney and a politician. For the first 5 years of his career, he worked exclusively as an attorney.
In his time as an attorney, he argued 2 non-jury trials and 9 appellate cases to completion. He specialized in commercial litigation and appeal cases. He also handled complex tort cases and supported work on class action defense.
Before he was a practicing attorney, he clerked for a summer at Governor Jeb Bush’s General Counsel’s Office and for a summer at President George W. Bush’s General Counsel’s Office.
He paused his legal career for 2 years after being elected to the Florida House of Representatives. Then he started to work as Of Counsel for law firms while in public office. Some Representatives choose to supplement their income with other employment, because Florida's House of Representatives regular session is only 60 days each year with a salary of $29,697 (2016).
Eisnaugle held a political office as a Republican State Representative twice.
This judge is a member of the Federalist Society.
This judge is a textualist, who uses an interpretation of the Constitution that is advocated by the Federalist Society.
He is a former member of the the Ninth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission (2006-2010), as well as the National Rifle Association, the Republican Lawyers Association, and the Orange County Republican Executive Committee. He served as the Secretary for the Orlando Chapter of the Federalist Society (2006), President of the Orange County Young Republicans (2007 - 2008), and President of the Florida Southern College's Republicans Club (1997 - 1998). In 2022, he applied to the Supreme Court.
